Lighting can make or break your retail display. The right kind of lighting will attract customers to your store, help you establish your brand, and make your products memorable.
To help inspire you in your quest to use light to fashion your own creative displays, I’ve put together a list of 3 awesome display windows I’ve spotted on Pinterest.
So, without further ado, here they are…
1. Harvey Nichols in London

I really appreciate the soft downlights in various hues used to flatter the swimwear in this display, but what’s especially remarkable is how that twisted light literally connects one look to the next!
2. Bergdorf Goodman in New York

This spooky display from Halloween week in 2011 truly catches the eye. I’d say it would have stopped me clean in my tracks if I’d seen it in person on 5th Avenue. The good people at Bergdorf Goodman really used light to their advantage here. The white display lights make the eyes of the “masks” eerily glow. Using colored light to illuminate other parts of the display also makes it look especially ghoulish.
3. Repetto in Paris

This beautiful shop specializes in shoes for dancers, but also gets an A+ for special lighting design. Though the novelty incandescent light bulbs reminiscent of the stage and the interior chandeliers are certainly exquisite, my favorite fixtures are the subtle display lights illuminating the tutus from above, giving their skirts an almost angelic glow.
